Just wanted to pass along a note of THANKS to everyone who took part in this year’s 5th Wifflin’ for Wishes Tournament! It keeps getting bigger and better every year, and we have only YOU guys to thank for it! Everyone that played a role, from sponsorship, to promotion, to set-up, to the 53 teams who participated in games, right down to cleaning up—THANK YOU!

The final numbers are in, we’ve made a donation just shy of $4,000 this year! That’s amazing, and a testament to all of you amazing folks!
 

The tournament this year was (as always it seems) hit by rains that were off and on during the playoff rounds, and the 24 teams that advanced played through it without any problems. When the final game ended at about 8:30pm under the lights, it was “Triflin’ On The Big Stinky Cheddar”, besting defending champions “Team Chotch” by a 2-1 score to become our new champs. It was a great show all-around!

One request I have of all of you is photos. I’d love to get my hands on any and all photos you may have taken at the tournament so I can add to the gallery for the web site! I appreciate your help on this very much! Feel free to email anything you’ve got to me at truck@hrltwincities.com!

Again, thanks so much for everything you guys did to make this such a huge success! I’m already looking forward to installment number six next summer!
